"As early as 2016, ZhengChang feed pellet mill (75t/h) has gone off the assembly line and put into production, but from the domestic market demand, it is expected to be used in a large scale five years later." Hao Bo, chairman of Jiangsu ZhengChang Group, told the reporter. “Only ZhengChang has the production capacity of high-output feed equipment and complete engineering in China.”

The pellet mill(75t/h) is another innovation after the pellet mill with an output of 55t/h. It passed national certification at the end of 2015 and reached the international advanced level.

At present, the large-scale feed equipment has become a trend of the industry. Globally, large-scale feed equipment and technology are concentrated in European and American countries, but few enterprises have the capacity to produce pellet mill with the output of 90 tons or more. “In the future, the farms will be inclined to be large-scale. Less land use and labor will be the binding indicators.” Mr. Hao Bo said.

Now the capacity of most domestic feed factories is about 60 tons per hour, requiring 80 workers. With only three equipment(75t/h), feed factories can achieve over 200 tons of output per hour, only 100 workers are enough. This means the output is three times higher, but we only need increase the personnel by 30%, greatly improving the efficiency.

The key to the manufacture of large-scale feed machinery is the whole systematization, which requires a whole series of main equipment, not just a unit of pellet mill. Feed production covers the whole process of grinding, mixing, granulating and crushing. In order to achieve large-scale equipment, it is necessary to equip with a full set of equipment, which are all indispensable.

Since feed machinery mainly processes raw materials, the treated raw materials must be safe and reliable, which requires more comprehensive system and processing technology. Especially at present, under the influence of African swine fever, the safety and reliability of feed has become the center of attention. How feed factories ensure that raw materials and feed are protected from African swine fever virus infection is a serious problem.
