(Group Headquarters Correspondent) On the afternoon of October 10, the first council meeting of the Jiangsu Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association was held in Nanjing. At the meeting, Yang Genping, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee and director of the representative working committee of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, was elected as the president of the Jiangsu Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association. Eight units, including Zhengchang Group, were elected as vice president units of the Jiangsu Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association. President Yang Genping awarded the "Vice President Unit of the Jiangsu Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association" bronze plaque to Lu Ying, vice chairman of Zhengchang Group.
The Jiangsu Provincial Patriotic Support for the Military Promotion Association is a provincial, united, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, social organizations, and individuals concerned about supporting the military and their families. As a provincial-level patriotic support for the military social organization, the association will actively promote the party and government's patriotic support for the military policies, widely mobilize and gather social forces, actively engage in the patriotic support for the military cause, continuously expand the circle of mutual support between the military and civilians, and draw a good circle of unity between the military and the people.
As an advanced enterprise in supporting the military, Zhengchang Group has long played its industry advantages, insisting on practical measures to support the military; focusing on multiple measures, insisting on doing practical things for the military; deepening characteristic care, insisting on seeking practical results in supporting the military. For forty years, it has continuously supported the military, interpreting the patriotic feelings of a century-old enterprise through practical actions. Vice Chairman Lu Ying has also successively won honors such as "Most Beautiful Supporter of the Military" in Changzhou, "Top Ten Citizens Concerned about National Defense Construction," and "Advanced Individual in Double Support Work" in Jiangsu Province.
