The summer heat pales in comparison to the fervent spirit of supporting the military; the depths of the Yangtze River cannot match the profound bond between the people and their armed forces. As the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army approaches, on July 30, Lu Ying, Vice Chairman of the Group, led a delegation comprising retired military personnel, employee representatives, and invited representatives of demobilized servicemen from Liyang City, bringing carefully prepared gifts to Unit 63691 for a “August 1st” military‑civilian friendship event. They extended heartfelt holiday greetings and highest respect to the officers and soldiers, sharing in the deep, enduring ties that unite the military and the people.
Vice Chairwoman Lu Ying and her delegation received a warm welcome from the officers and soldiers of Unit 63691. Accompanied by the unit’s leadership, the entire group gained an up-close understanding of the troops’ working environment, as well as their daily training and living conditions. Witnessing how the servicemen and women maintain high morale and a rigorous work ethic even under challenging circumstances, the members expressed their heartfelt admiration. At the friendship gathering, Vice Chairwoman Lu Ying, on behalf of all employees of the company, extended warm greetings and sincere gratitude to the officers and soldiers of Unit 63691. She emphasized that these dedicated personnel shoulder the critical responsibility of national space tracking and control, tirelessly serving on the front lines of the motherland and building an impregnable bulwark for China’s space program—serving as a model for the entire society. Taking this friendly exchange as an opportunity, the company pledged to continue, as always, to support and prioritize national defense, show care and concern for those who are most deserving of respect, and actively explore new avenues for military‑civilian integration, striving to contribute its share to the cause of strengthening the armed forces.
The leadership of Unit 63691 expressed gratitude to Jiangsu Zhengchang Group for their special visit to offer condolences, and outlined the unit’s mission and achievements. They noted that, over the years, local enterprises have provided strong support for the unit’s development, and this deep bond between the military and the civilian population has served as a solid backing for the unit in fulfilling its tasks. Moving forward, the unit will continue to uphold its fine traditions, live up to the expectations of local enterprises and the people, and make further contributions to the advancement of China’s space program.
With the strong support of the Liyang City Musicians Association, this fellowship event also featured a splendid cultural performance specially prepared for the troops. The choral piece “Love My People, Love My Army” eloquently expressed the unbreakable bond between the military and the people—the deep, inseparable ties that bind them together. The male solo “Green Military Uniform” conveyed soldiers’ unwavering loyalty to their country and their profound affection for their uniform. Meanwhile, the female solo “Ode to Heroes” celebrated the heroic virtues and selfless spirit of our servicemen, reminding us to honor our history, cherish peace, and carry forward the revolutionary ethos. A rap‑style performance by the troops showcased the boldness and charisma of the soldiers of Unit 63691. The atmosphere at the venue was electric, with waves of applause and cheers rising and falling; as military personnel and civilians shared the stage in joyful harmony, the event reached its climax, drawing hearts closer and deepening the bonds of friendship. Amid laughter and song, the heartfelt rapport between the military and the people grew ever stronger, and the fellowship concluded successfully to the stirring strains of the joint military‑civilian chorus, “Singing of the Motherland.”
When the military and civilians stand united as one, who in the world could possibly prevail? This joint event not only enabled the troops to deeply appreciate Zhengchang Group’s profound support for the armed forces but also further strengthened mutual understanding and trust between the military and the people, laying a solid foundation for advancing integrated military‑civilian development.
