On March 8, 2025, the Jiangsu Grain Industry Association convened a product appraisal meeting in Liyang, organized by Jiangsu Zhengchang Grain Machinery Co., Ltd. The four newly developed products—the SHWT220×2-5 horizontal dryer, the SZPL2000 vertical vacuum coating system, the SZLH600×180 ring‑die pelletizer, and the SWFL170 ultrafine pulverizer—received unanimous praise from the experts and were respectively certified as “internationally leading,” “internationally advanced,” “internationally advanced,” and “domestically leading.”

This new-product appraisal meeting was convened to conduct a scientific, objective, and impartial evaluation of four innovative products developed by Jiangsu Zhengchang Grain Machinery Co., Ltd. These four products represent significant advancements in the grain and feed industries, featuring high efficiency, energy savings, and environmental friendliness, and are designed to address key challenges such as enhancing production efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and improving user experience. Renowned industry experts and leaders from the Jiangsu Provincial Grain Industry Association attended the appraisal session, joined by relevant executives and technical leaders from Jiangsu Zhengchang Grain Machinery Co., Ltd. The project leader provided a detailed overview of the products’ R&D background, technological roadmap, innovative features, and potential applications.
The four new products evaluated this time are characterized primarily by the following features:
Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in specific energy consumption: moisture uniformity after drying is ≤0.5%, and specific energy consumption is ≤2,800 kJ/kg·H₂O. Both the performance of the gas-fired heating system and the product’s specific energy consumption are at a leading level.
Employing an innovatively designed sealing structure and a high-performance discharge mechanism, the system effectively controls internal vacuum tightness and material residue rate.
The transmission disc and mounting base feature a high‑quality sealing structure and an assembled, split‑type design, ensuring both the reliability and ease of maintenance of the drive system. Additionally, the adjustable cutter mechanism delivers cleaner, more uniform cut edges on the pellets.
In accordance with product specifications, an innovative mechanism has been developed that can be controlled by multiple actuators and features vector‑controlled adjustment of both the opening degree and direction of the make‑up air. Additionally, a multi‑directional adjustable gear ring structure has been adopted to further enhance crushing efficiency and particle fineness. Meanwhile, a fault‑diagnosis system has been designed and implemented to improve the equipment’s safety and operational stability.
The expert panel first heard a technical briefing on the new product and reviewed the relevant documentation. Following a series of questions and discussions at the meeting, they ultimately formulated their evaluation. The new product demonstrates significant innovations in areas such as enhanced equipment precision, reduced energy consumption, and improved safety and stability, with technical performance reaching internationally leading and advanced levels, thus holding broad application prospects. In practical applications, the product has delivered outstanding results. The panel unanimously concluded that the new product possesses substantial practical value and approved its acceptance.
