The grain condition monitoring and control system performs basic monitoring functions. The system is equipped with temperature‑sensing cables, level sensors, and temperature–humidity sensors within the storage facility to continuously collect real-time data on internal grain‑pile temperatures, warehouse humidity, and storage conditions. Should an abnormal temperature rise occur, the system promptly triggers an alarm, providing critical information to guide subsequent operations such as ventilation, cooling, and fumigation.

The intelligent ventilation system can adjust in response to changes in temperature and humidity inside the grain storage facility. When grain temperature rises, internal humidity increases, or localized heat buildup occurs within the grain mass, the system automatically activates fans to draw cool outside air into the facility, facilitating heat and moisture exchange with the grain pile, thereby achieving cooling, dehumidification, and uniform temperature distribution.

Grain cooling systems use grain coolers to deliver cold air—cooler than the ambient temperature—into the storage bin, thereby further reducing the temperature of the grain mass. As the grain temperature drops, its respiration rate decreases, and the reproduction of pests and the activity of microorganisms are also suppressed, helping to minimize storage losses and slow down quality deterioration.

Airtight grain storage addresses protection challenges during long-term storage. A highly airtight silo minimizes the impact of external temperature and humidity fluctuations on the internal environment, while also facilitating operations such as fumigation and controlled-atmosphere storage. For grains requiring extended storage periods, the greater the silo’s airtightness, the more consistent and reliable the effectiveness of pest control, mold prevention, and quality preservation.
