Zhengchang Supports Zigong City Investment’s Yiyitu Feed Factory in Successfully Completing Trial Production

Recently, the Yiyitu Feed Factory of Zigong City Investment Co., Ltd. successfully completed its trial production phase. The project utilizes specialized rabbit feed production equipment and process solutions provided by Zhengchang. During the trial run, the entire production line operated smoothly, with capacity ramping up in an orderly manner; the finished pellets were uniform, and the degree of pelleting met the project’s specifications.
This project is a key supporting initiative for Zigong City Investment Group’s efforts to develop a full‑chain industrial system for meat rabbits, with a designed annual production capacity of… 12 Ten thousand tons; upon full production, the annual output value is expected to be approximately… 4 RMB 100 million. Upon completion and commissioning, the project will further enhance the region’s capacity for large-scale, specialized production of rabbit feed, ensuring a stable supply of feed to support meat rabbit farming and the development of the entire industry chain.
Rabbit feed is characterized by a high crude fiber content and difficulty in pelletizing, which places stringent demands on ingredient‑mixing accuracy, conditioning and cooking performance, and product stability. During the project design phase, Zhengchang integrated the raw material properties and product specifications to develop a comprehensive process plan covering raw material storage and handling, grinding, batching, pelleting, cooling, screening, and packaging and palletizing, while optimizing the relevant process configurations to suit the specific requirements of rabbit feed production.
The production line is equipped with an intelligent warehousing and raw-material management system, enabling centralized control over the receipt, storage, and conveyance of raw materials. Key processes such as grinding, batching, and pelleting are operated under automated control to enhance formulation accuracy and ensure continuous production. For high‑fiber raw materials, the line has been optimized in both the grinding and pelleting stages, improving pellet‑forming quality while maintaining production efficiency.
The project has also strengthened the conditioning and maturation processes, as well as the finished-product screening stage. By optimizing the conditioning process, it enhances the degree of material maturation and improves hygienic control throughout production. Additionally, a finished-product screening step is implemented prior to packaging to separate powdered materials and nonconforming particles, thereby further ensuring the uniformity and stability of the final product.
The trial production was successfully completed, validating the suitability of the project’s process design and equipment configuration. Moving forward, Zhengchang will continue to collaborate with the customer to ensure smooth operation of the production line and to enhance capacity, providing technical and service support to ensure stable project operations.
