On [date], Xie Zhenping, Vice Mayor of the Liyang Municipal People’s Government and head of the Changzhou New Energy Industry Science and Technology Town Mayor Delegation, led a delegation to visit and conduct on-site research at Zhengchang Feed Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhengchang Oils & Fats Co., Ltd. The team gained first-hand insights into the companies’ production and operations, technological innovation, product development, and market prospects, and engaged in discussions on industry–university–research collaboration, technological upgrading, and the enterprises’ development needs.

At Zhengchang Feed Technology Co., Ltd., Xie Zhenping, accompanied by Professor Guo Yuxing—Vice Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology at Nanjing Normal University and a doctoral supervisor—as well as Professor Luo Haibo and others, conducted an in-depth visit to the production workshops, gaining insights into the company’s manufacturing environment, process flows, and product development efforts. At Zhengchang Oils & Fats Co., Ltd., the delegation toured the company’s historical and cultural exhibition hall, the refining workshop, and the product display area. They listened to presentations on the company’s development journey, brand identity, and industrial strategic layout, observed the oil‑refining and processing procedures firsthand, and asked detailed questions about the technological features, quality standards, and production capacities of various oil categories.

The heads of Zhengchang Feed Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhengchang Oils & Fats Co., Ltd. respectively reported on the companies’ progress in recent years in areas such as technological innovation, talent development, and the R&D of key products, as well as on their needs related to technological upgrades and market expansion. During the symposium, Xie Zhenping and his delegation commended the companies for their efforts in R&D and product innovation, encouraging them to further increase investment in scientific research, leverage their product‑quality advantages, and deepen industry–university–research collaboration. They also coordinated with relevant departments to provide support for technological R&D and market‑expansion services, thereby helping the enterprises enhance their core competitiveness.
