The leaders attending this meeting included Liu Xidong, Vice President of the China Grain Industry Association, rotating chairman of the Rice Branch of the China Grain Industry Association, and president of the Jiangsu Province Grain Industry Association, as well as Xu Binshan, Deputy Director of the Lianyungang Grain and Material Reserve Bureau, and Hao Bo, Chairman of Jiangsu Zhengchang Group, among more than 150 others.
At the meeting, on the theme of "Quality Strong Grain Construction, Cultivating New Advantages for Grain Economic Development, Promoting High-Quality Development of the Grain Industry," Comrade Hao Bo, Chairman of the Vice President Unit of the Provincial Association Zhengchang Group, delivered an important speech.
"The feed industry is the foundation supporting the development of modern animal husbandry, aquaculture, and breeding industries. It is an important component of the breeding production system and a key livelihood industry for solving the supply of meat, eggs, milk, and grain. Since the reform and opening up, the feed industry has seized the historical opportunity of accelerated development in agriculture and the booming rise of the breeding industry, integrating modern agricultural scientific and technological achievements such as animal nutrition and agricultural product processing, actively developing and utilizing domestic and foreign feed raw material resources, ensuring feed supply, improving breeding efficiency, and promoting changes in breeding production methods, allowing the Chinese people to transition from "eating enough" to "eating well." As a feed equipment provider, Zhengchang's integrated innovation supports the value development of Chinese feed enterprises, consistently adhering to the creation of stable and reliable enterprises and products, achieving long-term development for customers."
At the same time, Shi Qiping, Vice President of the Jiangsu Province Grain Industry Association, reported on the 2022 work summary of the Provincial Grain Industry Association. Liu Xidong, Vice President of the China Grain Industry Association, rotating chairman of the Rice Branch of the China Grain Industry Association, and president of the Jiangsu Province Grain Industry Association, presented the work report of the 12th Executive Council of the 4th session, deploying the association's work for 2023. First, implement new requirements, carry out new actions, and play a new role, serving as the main force in grain security and high-quality industrial development; second, further develop the "Water Rhythm Su Rice" provincial public brand construction and initiate the "Water Rhythm Su Noodles" brand construction at a new starting point, deeply cultivating and acting in brand strengthening; third, focus on "practical actions," continuously enhancing the gold content of the provincial grain association's service brand; fourth, actively carry out exchanges and cooperation, serving enterprise innovation and development; fifth, focus on strengthening the association's own construction, comprehensively improving service levels for members; sixth, focus on comprehensively strengthening the construction of the association's party organization, enhancing political and organizational functions.
Finally, Song Zhongning, the financial officer of the Provincial Grain Industry Association, reported the 2022 financial settlement of the provincial association to the executive council. The meeting also reviewed and approved the addition of eight units, including the Jiangsu Province Water Rhythm Su Rice Industry Research Institute, as executive council units of the association. On the morning of March 24, the representatives attending the meeting successively visited the Jiangsu Province Xinhai Grain Reserve Directly Under the Bureau and Yihai (Lianyungang) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd., learning from their advanced production and management experience.
