From December 26 to 28, 2018, at the beautiful Tianmu Lake, the "2018 7th Tianmu Lake Forum and Zhengchang Group's 20th Anniversary of the Full Acquisition of American CPM's Granulation Plant in China" was successfully held, hosted by Zhengchang Group. The forum focused on the theme of "Stable and Reliable Achievements for Long-term Development, Concentrating on Creating Feed Breeding Value for Customers, and Focusing on Value Creation in the Customer Consumption Process." It invited several industry experts to discuss topics such as "How to achieve safe, hygienic, and efficient production in feed mills; in the face of the rampant African swine fever, how to solve the problem of the virus carried by feed raw materials through the full maturation and softening process, allowing pigs to eat healthy feed? How to achieve customer value through the selection of raw materials and formula technology for aquatic extruded and expanded feed, and how to enhance market competitiveness and achieve high efficiency through the processing technology of large yellow croaker and grouper feed? How to remove Salmonella from feed through new processing technology for layer feed to improve the quality of egg products?" The forum aimed to help feed enterprises achieve development and breakthroughs in areas such as business philosophy, on-site management solutions, and production process innovation, promoting the stability and long-term development of enterprises.

The leaders and guests attending this grand event included: Zhang Liyu, Deputy Director of the Industry Statistics and Analysis Department of the National Animal Husbandry Station, Vice President of the China Feed Industry Association, and Chairman of Jiangsu Zhengchang Group, Hao Bo, as well as representatives from feed industry companies across the country, such as Chia Tai Group, Wens Group, Chia Tai Kangdi, Jinxinnong, Hefeng Group, Jiuding Group, Zhenghong Group, Zhengbang Group, and more than 80 production management, process equipment management, and technical experts. Expert Lectures, Wonderful and Diverse

Mr. Cao Kang delivered a keynote speech on "Modern Feed Processing Environmental Protection and Safety Production," elaborating in detail on how feed mills should implement safety production and achieve sustainable development through various aspects such as modern feed processing odor treatment technology, dust explosion prevention technology, and confined space management.

Mr. Lv Jianlong, Director of Zhengchang Research Institute, discussed "Feed Process Equipment Suitable for the Future Development Trends of the Animal Husbandry Feed Industry" with us. Through analysis from multiple perspectives, including trends in lifestyle changes over the next 5-10 years, the existence of feed enterprises, changes in feed processes/equipment, and the model of intelligent feed mills, he guided us to better choose advanced equipment and processes that adapt to the future development of feed mills.

In the face of the rampant situation of "African swine fever," Mr. Fan Fuhao, Quality Supervisor of the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Breeding Pigs (Guangzhou) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, brought us an insightful speech with source analysis and a vivid teaching style, allowing everyone to learn the correct prevention and control strategies in a focused and enthusiastic classroom atmosphere.

Mr. Hu Qili, General Manager of Henan Guang'an Biotechnology Feed Co., Ltd., shared many valuable experiences with us on "The Application of Softening Technology in the Production of Teaching Feed." He demonstrated the differentiated advantages of softening technology in teaching feed production through comparisons of feed produced by ordinary processes and softening processes, as well as comparisons of piglet growth conditions. Additionally, he indicated that the softening processing technology has a high microbial kill rate and can eliminate the African swine fever virus during processing, allowing pigs to eat safe and healthy pellet feed.

Ms. Xue Min, head of the Aquatic Animal Nutrition and Feed Safety Research Group at the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, shared with us the "Selection of Raw Materials and Formula Technology for Aquatic Extruded and Expanded Feed," providing us with a deeper understanding of the production that combines aquatic expanded feed technology with raw materials and formulas.

Dr. Cheng Zongjia revealed the impact of new technology on the production performance and survival rate of South American white shrimp through hands-on experimental practices, bringing us new thoughts and ideas.

Mr. Liu Laiting, a director of the Feed Professional Branch of the China Grain and Oil Society, provided a detailed explanation of the original intention and evolution of feed processing, the planning, design, and innovation of feed processes through his keynote speech on "Process Planning and Design Innovation for Feed Enterprises," offering us new ideas for the process design of feed enterprises.

Professor Ai Chunxiang from the College of Ocean and Environment at Xiamen University shared unique and professional insights on the topic of "Development and Effect Enhancement of Extruded Compound Feed for Large Yellow Croaker and Grouper," providing in-depth sharing on the application status of extruded compound feed for large yellow croaker and grouper, how to industrialize development, and the key technologies for effect enhancement.

Mr. Wu Shougeng from the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences provided a detailed interpretation of the processing technology and nutritional regulation of layer feed based on the current situation of egg poultry feed and egg production in China, as well as the characteristics of layer production in China.

In the information age, adopting new technologies, achieving automation and intelligence, strengthening information management, improving production efficiency and quality safety, and reducing production costs have become urgent tasks for feed enterprises. Mr. Guo You, Chief Electrical Intelligence Expert of Chia Tai (China), combined the current situation of the feed industry to bring us a keynote speech on "The Application of Automation Technology in Feed Mills and Trends in Intelligent Development," which greatly benefited us.

The feed industry is a large industry with complex and diverse issues, and not all challenges we encounter in our work can be solved by holding a few meetings. The establishment of the Tianmu Lake Forum by Zhengchang in 2012 is aimed at gathering the collective wisdom of the industry, contributing our wisdom and strength to the progress of Chinese feed enterprises and the development of the Chinese feed industry.
