The "New Feed Generation" Fund awarded during the Second Tianmu Lake Forum
On November 12, 2013, the Second Tianmu Lake Forum opened by the Tianmu Lake in Liyang. At this forum, not only did more than 10 experts give keynote lectures, but participants also engaged in discussions around "building competitive strength for feed enterprises that exist for happiness" through "everyone teaching, everyone sharing". Finally, the award ceremony for the "New Feed Generation" Fund was held.
The New Feed Generation Fund was established by Zhengchang Group in 2012 at the first Tianmu Lake Forum as a special reward fund. This fund was set up to encourage and support more technical personnel in the feed industry who contribute to production management and process innovation research. The initial funding was provided by Zhengchang Group, amounting to 2 million RMB.
Hao Bo, Chairman of Zhengchang Group, stated when establishing the "New Feed Generation" Fund that this fund is an organic part of the Tianmu Lake Forum and will exist alongside the forum for a long time. The fund will reward individuals or organizations that win quarterly and annual awards through the expert review mechanism of the "Tianmu Lake Forum", to support the development of China's feed industry.
At this forum, the awards of the fund were held again. The expert group reviewed the materials shared and suggestions made by representatives participating in the "group roundtable forum" session. Among them, the fourth group, which proposed the most valuable suggestions, won the "Outstanding Team Award"; Manager Zhang from Xinjiang Tiankang Animal Husbandry Biology, Manager Gong from Fujian Dabeinong Feed Co., Ltd., and Manager Shu from Chia Tai Kangdi Group, along with seven other representatives, received the "Outstanding Individual Award"; Vice President Li from Hefei Huarun Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Group, Manager Han from Shanxi Elephant Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Group, and Manager Zhang from Shaanxi Shiyang Group, among five other representatives, received the "Third Prize"; Manager Gao from Xinjiang Tiankang Animal Husbandry Biology, Factory Director Mao from New Hope Liuhe Group, and Manager Chen from Beijing Jiuzhou Dadi received the "Second Prize"; Engineer Wu from Guangdong Wens Group received the "First Prize". The "Special Prize" of this forum was awarded to Dr. Cheng Zongjia from the Animal Nutrition and Feed Center of COFCO Nutrition and Health Research Institute, whose topic on "The Positive Development and Progress of Feed (Research Results of Expanded Feed)" received unanimous recognition from the experts. The experts noted that in the past year, Dr. Cheng Zongjia has dedicated himself to researching and experimenting with low-temperature expanded feed for piglets, successfully achieving a significant effect of increasing the weaning weight of 21-day-old piglets from 52KG to 63KG. This is a remarkable achievement, and a prize of 8,000 yuan was awarded as encouragement. All the awards and prizes for this award ceremony were provided by the "New Feed Generation" Fund.
During the award ceremony, several award-winning representatives spoke, expressing their gratitude for receiving the "New Feed Generation" Fund award and stating that they would work harder in the future to contribute to the development of China's feed industry. They also hoped to have more opportunities to participate in the Tianmu Lake Forum, to exchange and learn with more peers and engage in mutual discussions.
The award ceremony for the "New Feed Generation" Fund is a recognition of the achievements made by the awarded experts and technical personnel in the feed industry. It also encourages more elites in the feed industry to make greater efforts for the Chinese feed industry. At the same time, it is hoped that more elites in the feed industry will join the Tianmu Lake Forum to jointly celebrate the industry's grand event.
