The 3rd Tianmu Lake Forum was held in Liyang, Jiangsu in 2014.
Director Yan Kuiyou of the Information Center of the China Feed Industry Association delivered a speech at the Tianmu Lake Forum.
From November 24 to 26, the 2014 China Feed Industry Production Management and Process Innovation Forum and the 3rd Tianmu Lake Forum, lasting 3 days, were held in Liyang, Jiangsu. Gao Hongbin, former Vice Minister of Agriculture and President of the China Feed Industry Association, inscribed for the forum: "Tianmu has a lake, and the forum has a way." This forum is themed on creating a "harvest production line for happiness," involving livestock and poultry feed, aquatic feed, premix feed, ruminant feed, etc., in aspects such as factory construction, production management, and process innovation, introducing the concept of "happiness," which is rich in humanistic care, into our feed production, operation, and management, with innovative intent, rich connotation, and creativity, reflecting the spirit of the times.
The forum invited Fu Tongjiu, General Manager of the Development Department of New Hope Liuhe Co., Ltd., Dr. Luo Congyan from Zhengchang Feed Technology Co., Ltd., Shen Changshan, General Manager of the Production Management Department of New Hope Liuhe Co., Ltd., Cao Kang, Chief Editor of "China Modern Feed Engineering," Dr. Cheng Zongjia from COFCO Group, Chen Wei, Director of Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd., Guo Shaoyong, Chief Engineer of Hefeng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., Professor Wang Weiguo from Henan University of Technology, and Ni Yajun, Director of the Process Research Institute of Zhengchang Group, to discuss topics such as "Key Points of Modern Feed Factory Planning and Construction," "Processing Technology and Key Equipment Development and Application for Complete Cattle and Sheep Feed," "Refined Management of Feed Factories," "Forward-looking Thoughts and Innovations in Feed Processing Technology Design," "Key Points and Experience Sharing of Quality Assurance Technology in Feed Production Process," "Design, Transformation, and Operation of Dust Removal Systems in Feed Factories," "Discussion on Key Points of Technological Transformation and Upgrading of Feed Production Enterprises," "How to Meet Clean and Sanitary Feed Production from the Perspective of Process and Equipment Selection," and "Application of 3D Digital Design in Feed Engineering Construction."
The forum believes that China's feed industry is smoothly transitioning to a "new normal." The national economic growth rate is stabilizing in a new reasonable range, and influenced by multiple domestic and international factors, the macroeconomic growth rate is slowing down. The development of the feed industry is shifting from quantity growth to quality and efficiency, from resource consumption to environmentally friendly. The competition in the feed industry is gradually heating up. To adapt to the needs of the development of China's animal husbandry, the pace of structural adjustment in the feed industry is accelerating, the call for comprehensive improvement of feed quality and safety is increasing, and the factors that restrict or limit the development of the feed industry are increasing. These will become new topics and challenges that cannot be avoided in the development of the feed industry under the new normal. The Tianmu Lake Forum is a beneficial attempt for the transformation and upgrading of China's feed machinery industry, feed processing industry, and related fields to solve development problems.
The forum adopted a model combining centralized communication and group roundtable discussions, divided into 4 groups, reflecting "everyone shares, everyone benefits," and announced the sharing topics before the meeting, allowing everyone to "prepare in advance, participate during the meeting, and gain afterwards." During the meeting, participants expressed their opinions freely. On the morning of the 26th, the forum held the "New Feed Generation" Fund Award Ceremony. The forum rewarded and issued certificates to those who proposed valuable rational suggestions and solutions regarding production management and process equipment. The Tianmu Lake "New Feed Generation" Fund was established by Zhengchang Group in 2012. The "New Feed Generation" Fund is a special reward fund set up by Zhengchang Group to encourage and support more professional technicians in feed enterprises to enhance value in production management and process innovation research, contributing to the enterprises, with an initial funding of 2 million yuan. The "New Feed Generation" Fund is an organic part of the Tianmu Lake Forum, providing public welfare fund rewards to individuals or organizations that win quarterly and annual awards through the forum's expert review mechanism. Finance (fund) and intelligence (forum) go hand in hand, supporting the development of China's feed industry.
The Tianmu Lake Forum has successfully held three sessions to date, with the number of participating professionals increasing year by year, the scale of the conference expanding continuously, and the forum's purpose becoming more prominent, with its reputation and influence in the feed industry growing, having become an important public platform for technical exchange in China's feed machinery and feed processing industries.
At the forum, the official WeChat platform of the Tianmu Lake Forum received much attention, becoming a mobile platform for online communication among participants, adding a modern touch and interactive color to the forum.
During the forum, participants visited the modern production line of Jiangsu Guoliang Storage Engineering Co., Ltd., witnessing Zhengchang Group's core concept of creating value for customers, rapidly developing towards internationalization and modernization.
