Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangsu Feed Industry AssociationMr. Yan Jiangang

Mr. Yan Jiangang, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Feed Industry Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the Association, first delivered the opening speech for the forum. In the past two years, under the adjustment of supply-side structural reform, environmental governance efforts have increased, and the breeding structure in 10 provinces and cities in the southern water network has undergone significant adjustments. In 2016, the total feed volume in the province was 10.3 million tons, with a feed production of 8.56 million tons in the first three quarters, representing growth of 3% and 8% compared to last year, ending a five-year trend of double-digit growth. The feed industry and breeding industry have entered a stage of stable development; the "13th Five-Year Plan" has identified the development of safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly feed and the improvement of production and processing levels as the two main tasks of the industry. How to enhance enterprise competitiveness is a new topic for industry development. This Tianmu Lake Forum, themed "Four Wisdoms," proposed insights on process innovation and management, accelerating the advancement of intelligence levels, reducing costs, and creating a new pattern of industry development, reflecting the characteristics of innovation and the requirements of keeping pace with the times. The forum discussed hot topics such as the development trends of feed enterprises, processing innovation, enterprise efficiency management, and intelligent management, gathering industry experts to share valuable experiences and jointly promote the healthy development of the feed industry.

"Wisdom Gathering" refers to the gathering of industry experts, scholars, feed enterprises, feed machinery enterprises, and technical talents at the Tianmu Lake Forum to contribute wisdom and insights for the development of China's feed industry. "Wisdom Seeing" indicates that the Tianmu Lake Forum, as a platform for technical exchange in the industry, is willing to provide opportunities and platforms for professionals to interact, collaborate, and develop together with an open-minded attitude, welcoming them to present actionable production, management, and process innovation solutions. "Wisdom Change" refers to how feed enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, can break through, enhance production capacity, reduce energy consumption, optimize allocation, ensure feed quality, and achieve high efficiency in the context of the current trend of intensive, large-scale, and intelligent industry development. "Intelligence" refers to the use of intelligent and automated equipment to help enterprises improve efficiency and reduce operating costs as labor costs increase. This forum adopts four segments: interaction, focus, reciprocity, and influence, sharing experiences, brainstorming, and ensuring that everyone benefits.
